Enriching The Life of Budgies and Other Pet Birds

This time of year is perfect to treat your budgies and other parakeets for free. Cut a large handful of seeded grasses from a local park or meadow (free from pollution or pesticides) and either tie the bunch to the cage or branches or push them into a Seagrass ball or similar to make a cheap enrichment toy.

They absolutely adore foraging and picking at the various seeds, the more different types of grass the better! Why not give it a go?!
